Stand-Up Comedy Workshop with Dean Lewis
Dean Lewis has appeared on Last Comic Standing “Season 5,” the Ellen DeGeneres Show, and he is the Wendy’s Clean Comedy Challenge 2007 winner. Dean also earned an EMMY for comedy writing on the show, “DFW 10.” Dean has been performing stand-up comedy since 1989, has sold material to such comedy powerhouses as Jay Leno, and starred in the independent film, “Shtickmen,” the award-winning mockumentary about life as a stand-up comedian, for which Dean won the Outstanding Achievement In Screen Writing Award at Visionfest 2003.
With over two decades in the business, performances all over the globe, numerous awards and credits, Dean Lewis shares his expertise and his craft by leading one of the most noted comedy workshops in America.

Improvisation Workshop with Landon Kirksey
Landon Kirksey is a graduate of The Second City Conservatory in Chicago. While there, he wrote and performed in several original sketch revues including Homeless Revolution, Vancab, and Big Time Tonight. He also performed in multiple improv teams and did shows all over the city, including at the famed ImprovOlympic, and at Chicago comedy institutions The Lincoln Lodge, and Chicago Underground Comedy. Landon currently performs and teaches improvisation at Four Day Weekend in Fort Worth. When not doing comedy, Landon plays harmonica in the rock and roll band The 1969′s. He is represented by the Kim Dawson Agency. Landon performs with: Pavlov’s Dogs and Victory Point

Children’s Improvisation Workshop with Chelsea Hood
Chelsea Hood is a Chicago native who began her comedy career in Dallas, TX. In her first year of comedy she quickly climbed the ranks and advanced to the Semi-Finals in The Funniest Comic in Texas Competition and has not touched the brakes since. She was recently featured in the Dallas Morning News as a comic aiming to close the gender gap in this male dominated industry, and was quoted as “winning big laughs, and not just from the women.” Before expanding her career to include stand-up and sketch comedy, Chelsea lead numerous children’s theater productions and children’s improvisation workshops. The children’s workshop will end with a grand performance for the parents. Lil’ Kids Workshop ages 5-7 9am-noon Big Kids Workshop ages 8-10 1pm-4pm *light snack included.

Comedic Timing for Tweens & Teens with Angi Ullrich
Students will learn how to act, interact and react during scenework to produce a polished and professional performance. The final showcase will consist of scenes involving complex comedic timing and intuitive interpretation.
Angi Ullrich has been involved with theatre since the age of 4. She began acting at the Creative Arts and Theatre School and continued her study through High School and College. Angi graduated from Plano Sr. High School. She earned a Bachelors of Arts in both Theatre and Communications from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Angi is currently obtaining a Master’s Degree in Education Administration from Concordia University. She served as the Director of Children’s Theatre for the Oklahoma Shakespearean Festival for 4 years before moving back to Texas. She has been the owner and director of Broadway Bound School of Performing Arts since 2007. Angi is also a local middle school drama teacher and active in community and repertory theaters across North Texas.
